Welcome to Humble Mama!

Hi, I’m Linda Caridad—a wife, mom of two, writer at heart, and someone who believes there’s beauty in sharing life’s real, unfiltered moments.

I started Humble Mama because I’ve always loved to write. Writing has been my way of reflecting, processing, and connecting with others. I wanted to create a space where I could share the joys, challenges, and lessons that come with motherhood and everyday life. My hope has always been that if even one person reads a post and feels a little less alone, then sharing my story has been worth it.

When I first launched this blog, my days were filled with homeschooling my daughter during the pandemic while caring for my infant son. Like so many families, we were navigating an uncertain season and learning to embrace each day as it came.

Since then, life has taken us on an unexpected journey.

My son was diagnosed with autism, and our world shifted in ways I never could have imagined. Much of my time became focused on therapies, appointments, advocating for his needs, and celebrating milestones that others might take for granted. It wasn’t always easy, and there were seasons when writing had to take a back seat while I focused on my family.

Today, we’re still on that journey, and it’s one that continues to teach me patience, resilience, gratitude, and the importance of finding joy in the smallest victories.

Along the way, I also discovered another creative outlet—making candles and handcrafted bath and body products. What started as a hobby quickly became something deeply therapeutic for me. The process of creating with my hands brought a sense of peace during some of life’s busiest and most challenging moments, eventually inspiring the launch of Humble Mama’s Apothecary.

Whether you’re here to read about motherhood, autism, self-care, personal growth, or simply the everyday moments that make life meaningful, I’m so glad you found your way here.

Thank you for being part of this community. I hope you leave feeling encouraged, inspired, or simply reminded that you’re never alone in your journey.

With love,

Linda Caridad
